Terms and Conditions for Gift Vouchers

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to the use of gift vouchers issued by Rare Thing (“the Company”), a UK-based jewellery retailer. By purchasing or using a gift voucher, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchase or use.

2. Purchase and Use

a. Gift vouchers are available for purchase in-store and online.

b. Vouchers can be redeemed against any product or service offered by Rare Thing, excluding other gift vouchers.

c. Gift vouchers are non-transferable and must be treated like cash. The Company will not replace or reimburse lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers.

d. Gift vouchers may not be used in conjunction with certain promotional offers, discounts, or sales unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Validity

a. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. After the expiry date, any remaining balance will be forfeited.

b. Expired vouchers cannot be extended or reinstated.

4. Redemption

a. Vouchers can be redeemed in-store or through our online shop, subject to availability.

b. The full value of the gift voucher does not need to be used in a single transaction. Any remaining balance will be carried over for future purchases within the validity period.

c. To redeem a gift voucher in-store, the original voucher must be presented at the time of purchase.

d. For online redemptions, the unique voucher code must be entered at checkout.

5. Refunds and Exchanges

a. Gift vouchers cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged for cash.

b. If a product purchased with a gift voucher is returned, the refund will be credited back to a gift voucher.

c. Products purchased using a combination of gift vouchers and other payment methods will be refunded first to the original payment method(s) and then to the gift voucher where applicable.

6. Balance and Enquiries

a. The current balance of a gift voucher can be checked in-store or by contacting Rare Thing.

b. Any discrepancies in voucher balances must be reported immediately. The Company reserves the right to investigate and address balance disputes at its discretion.

7. Fraud and Abuse

a. Rare Thing reserves the right to cancel any gift voucher if it has been obtained fraudulently or if there is any suspicion of misuse.

b. Any attempt to use a gift voucher in violation of these terms and conditions will result in the transaction being voided, and legal action may be taken.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

a. Rare Thing reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website or in-store.

b. It is the responsibility of the voucher holder to review these terms regularly. Continued use of the gift voucher constitutes acceptance of any changes.
